Ergonomics roller knife
This unique professional design is based on many years of tradesman use of many different tools and grips. It helps the user to apply the most amount of force to the task at hand while permitting greater control. The overall shape of the grip, the placement of the axle, and the heel rest provide a more perfect transfer of the user’s force from his or her’s shoulder, arm and wrist without the fatigue and potential muscle and nerve damage associated with other tools.
Blade Change
With the blade extended, press the blade release button on the side of the tool. With the other hand, grasp the blade between your thumb and forefinger and gently pull the blade out through the front of the tool. Reverse this process for the insertion of a new blade. This tool accepts standard double ended utility blades.
Roller uses and change out
This tool comes with the most widely used rolling wheel installed. The two other wheels supplied provide additional uses to cover a wide spectrum of uses. These primary uses are as follows: R Wheel – for the larger round vinyl spline materials and carpet. S Wheel – for the standard flat spline materials and carpet. W Wheel – primarily for the small varieties of plastic, vinyl and odd shaped specialty splines used in the window screen, vinyl window and sliding glass door markets. To change the wheel, simply remove the screw and axle from the base of the tool and replace it with the desired wheel, then replace axle and screw.
